Advocacy
Double the Pell
Across the country, college students are struggling with access to food, housing, health care, childcare and other essentials. Higher levels of direct federal aid offered through Pell Grants can help ease this national issue. Join the University of California, the UC Student Association, the UC Basic Needs Initiative and other higher education partners in calling on Congress to restore the purchasing power of the Pell Grant by doubling the maximum award.
